Minister Kenye lays 5th edition of conduct of business in NLA

Nagaland Parliamentary Affairs Minister KG Kenye today laid the Fifth Edition of the “Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Nagaland Legislative Assembly.”

Earlier, NLA secretary-in-charge reported the assent of the Governor of Nagaland to the following Bills: The Nagaland Municipal (Bill) 2023, The Nagaland Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Bill, 2023, North East Christian University (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023 and Nagaland Anatomy Bill, 2023.

Deputy Chief Minister (Planning & Transformation and National Highway) T.R. Zeliang laid the Annual Administrative Reports 2023-2024 of Planning & Transformation and Geology & Mining.

Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Women Resource Development and Horticulture laid the Annual Administrative Report 2023-2024 of the Women Resource Development and Horticulture.

Imkong L Imchen, Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings (2023–2024) presented 135th Report on the Examination of the Audit Paragraphs that appeared in the Report of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India for the year 2017-2018 contained in the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) under the Department of Industries and Commerce and 136th Report on the Action Taken Report of the Committee on Public Undertakings on the 101st Recommendations made by the Committee in the context of its Observations relating to the functioning of the NHL Ltd, NHHDC Ltd, NIRMSC Ltd and NIDC Ltd. under the Department of Industries & Commerce and the NSMDC Ltd. under the Department of Geology & Mining.
