Zunheboto, August 21 (MExN): Reigning Miss Sumi 2025, Linoka Yepthomi, is set to launch a social initiative titled “Beyond the Crown: Planting Seeds of Knowledge,” aimed at fostering education, empowerment, and opportunity among children.
The initiative, which leverages the Miss Sumi platform, seeks to promote learning, encourage young minds to discover their potential, and inspire hope for a brighter future. It will focus on three key pillars — Educate, Empower, and Inspire — with an emphasis on raising awareness, building self-belief among youth, and creating pathways for sustainable growth.
Conceptualised under the broader theme “Beauty with a Purpose,” the project underscores the belief that education is a powerful investment in shaping a better tomorrow. The initiative is scheduled for launch later this year and marks Yepthomi's efforts to extend her role beyond the pageant and contribute meaningfully to children's welfare and development.
