Alempang, Tongdentsuyong, Arkong and Artang book semi final spots

Alempang booked their berth for the semi-final match against Arkong at the Mokokchung Inter ward football tournament. Alempang won 2-1 against Lijaba Lijen in the quarter finals. The first goal of the game was scored by Lijaba Lijen in the 11th minute which was however equalised by Temsulong of Alempang in the 20th minute. Lijaba lijen missed a penalty which gave hopes to Alempang who scored again in the 39th minute by Yashimeren and sailed through to the semi finals with their win. 

The second quarter final match between Tongdentsuyong and Kumlong went in favour of Tongdentsuyong making them the second team to qualify for the semis. The match ended 1-0, where the lone goal for Tongdentsuyong was scored by Opanglemzung in the 46th minute.

Arkong also booked their berth in the semi finals by winning Yimyu 5-4 in a tie breaker match. The first goal was scored by Rongsenchiba in the 21st minute of the game. However the equalizing goal came just minute after from Meyanukshi of Yimyu. The full time score ended 1-1 and the teams went for a tie breaker penalty shoot-out where Arkong emerged the winner.

An intense quarter final match between Mongsenbai and Artang ended 2-1 in favour of Artang. Imnatoshi of Mongsenbai scored the first goal in the 16th minute of the game. Artang came strong and scored two consecutive goals in the 32nd and 33rd minute. The goals were scored by Moakaba and Temshi respectively.
