DIMAPUR, APRIL 11 (MExN): A total of 99 students from Standards VI to VIII of PM Shri Government High School (GHS), Naharbari, Dimapur, visited the School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS), Nagaland University, Medziphema Campus on April 9.
The educational exposure trip, accompanied by nine staff members, was aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of agriculture and allied sciences, informed a press release.

During the visit, the students toured key facilities including the SAS Library, Educational Museum, SAS Research Farm, and the AICRP on Honey Bee and Pollinator.
They also visited the Departments of Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, and the Science and Technology Intervention for North Eastern Region (STINER) hub.
The programme was coordinated by Dr Nini R Kuotsu and Dr Anupama Bora, Assistant Professors from the Department of VSSD, SAS, NU.
The visit provided the students with a practical perspective on agricultural education and research being undertaken at the university, the release added.
