Arkong to take on Artang in final

Mokokchung, 29 March (MexN): Arkong and Artang will face off in the final match of the 1st Inter Ward Football Tournament. Arkong beat Alempang 5-2 in an exciting semi-final match. Alempang were leading 2-1 in the first half of the match, however, Arkong players came strong in the second half and scored four goals making it impossible for Alempang players to even equalize. 

In the second semi-finals between Tongdentsuyong and Artang ward, both teams failed to score any goals till the last whistle ending the game 0-0. However, in the extra time, Artang players proved that they were the deserving team to be in the finals by scoring two goals in the 95th and 99th Minute. The goals were scored by Furtemshi and Moakaba respectively.

The final match of the 1st Inter Ward Football Tournament will kick off at 1:00 pm at Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
