MOKOKCHUNG, APRIL 1 (MExN): The Office of the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung has informed all concerned that vegetation clearance for 132Kv AND 66Kv transmission lines under Transmission Division Mokokchung is scheduled from April 15 to May 17. In this regard, there will be total shut down of power from 8 -4 pm daily in order to facilitate smooth execution of the works. This exercise is necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply, a press release issued by Er Hekaito Assumi, Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung informed.
The schedule dates for the shut down are April 15-19 for Tuensang, Noklak and Shamator districts; April 21-25 and April 28-May 3 for Zunheboto district, May 5-10 for Changtongya sub-division, Tuli sub division, Longleng and Mon districts and May 12-17 for Longnak and Mangkolemba sub divisions.
The department has appealed to all public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
