MON, JUNE 8 (MExN): The Mon District Administration will launch Benefit Saturation Camps under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) from June 15 to June 30 to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries in the district are reached under the scheme. This was announced during a preparatory meeting convened on June 5 by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pakon Phom at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Mon.
According to the ADC, the block-level camps will be conducted with the active involvement of Common Services Centres (CSCs), the District Administration, and all relevant government departments. The aim is to provide last-mile delivery of benefits to individuals and families entitled under the scheme.
DAJGUA is an initiative of the Government of India that focuses on bridging critical gaps in social infrastructure, healthcare, education, and livelihoods in tribal areas. The programme brings together 25 targeted interventions across 17 Union ministries and departments through a coordinated approach.
The district administration said the upcoming camps will focus on ensuring holistic and sustainable development of tribal communities through awareness, outreach, and convergence of services.
