Kohima, April 21 (MExN): Powercomm FC today registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Amur Falcon FC in the ongoing Morning Premier League being played at the Local Ground Kohima on Thursday.
After 40 minutes of goalless play, Powercomm’s Michael opened the account for his team by sneaking a goal past Falcon’s custodian in the 42 minute.
Powercomm scored two more in the second half – Gum and Senpenlo scoring in the 51 and 73 minutes respectively to give the team a comfortable victory.
Abuno of Amur Falcon FC received a yellow card for unsporting play.
Meanwhile, at the end of week 7 and 35 matches, All Blacks top the league table with 19 points after posting 6 wins and 1 draw from their 7 matches while Merhulietsa FC are second with 15 points (5 wins and 2 losses).
Close on their heels are Morung United and Medical XI with 13 points each – Morung however have a better goal difference.
The eight game week will resume at the Local Ground Kohima on April 24.
