The two-day teachers training for Mokokchung Town Baptist Church Children Education Department (MTBA CED) commenced at MTBA conference hall, Mokokchung on February 22.
CED teachers from 11 fellowships under MTBA are attending the training with Rev Sharon White, Khrolhiu Wetsah and Areni Tungoe as the resource persons.
Rev Sharon White, Children’s Director, Assembly of God Church, North India trained the teachers through documents, visuals and games. She was guided and assisted by the other two speakers, Khrolhiu Wotsa, Youth Director, Chakhesang Baptist Church and Counselor Nagaland Children’s Home and Areni Tungoe, Children Pastor, Kohima AG Church & Proprietor, Holistic Counselling & Training Centre.
Rev Ponen Longchar, Pastor, MTBA gave a brief welcome address where he thanked the resource persons and the CED teachers for attending the training and hoped that it will be a time where the teachers will learn, unlearn and relearn new things.
Day one of the training began with praise and worship followed by sessions from the resource person. It ended with vote of thanks from Narosenla, CCES, MTBA. The training will culminate on February 23.
