KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that trials for the state’s Under-23 men’s and women’s teams will be held on February 24.
The selection trials will take place simultaneously at 3 p.m. at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Basketball Court in Kohima and Tetso College Basketball Court in Dimapur, the NBA said in a statement.
Successful candidates will represent Nagaland at the inaugural U-23 National Basketball Championship, scheduled to be held at Karmabir Nabin Chandra Bordoloi AC Indoor Stadium in Sarusajai Sports Complex, Guwahati, from March 18-24. Players born on or after January 1, 2002, are eligible to participate and must bring their Aadhar card and birth certificate for verification, NBA General Secretary Sentiningsang Longkumer said.
