An update received here stated that joining the TICCI National Team members, Dr Mughavi, President of Delhi Chapter and North East In-Charge, and Mahesh Purty, Orissa State Chapter, Tuccu underscored Nagaland's commitment to inclusive business growth and sustainable development.
The summit, inaugurated by Rajnath Singh, Union Defence Minister of Defence government of India focused on responsible capitalism and economic resilience.
Key sessions included “Innovating for Climate-Resilient Agriculture” and “Sustainable Mobility: Innovation and Integration,” addressing sustainable solutions.
The speakers, including Jagat Prakash Nadda, Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilisers, and Ewa Suwara, Deputy Head of Delegation, European Union, shared insights on healthcare and circular economy models.
Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & IT, delivered a compelling vision for India's digital and connected future. The session on “Connecting India, Empowering the North East,” led by Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Minister of Communications and Development of North-Eastern Region, emphasised regional development, aligning with Nagaland's aspirations.
Leaders like Suman K. Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, and Amitabh Kant, India's G20 Sherpa, discussed economic resilience and India@2047 strategies.
“This summit amplified Nagaland's voice in India's growth narrative,” said Akuto A Tuccu. Led by CII President Sanjiv Puri, Chairman and Managing Director of ITC Limited, the event fostered collaboration for a Viksit Bharat.
