Nagaland Governor, CM extend Holi greetings

Kohima, March 3 (MExN): Nagaland Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Holi.

In a message issued from Raj Bhavan, Kohima, the Governor conveyed warm wishes to all celebrating the festival of colours.

He stated that Holi symbolises the triumph of good over evil and reflects the spirit of joy, harmony and togetherness. The vibrant colours of the festival, he said, serve as a reminder of the beauty of diversity and the importance of strengthening bonds of friendship and unity among all communities.

Expressing hope that the festival would fill every home with happiness, peace and prosperity, the Governor urged citizens to uphold the values of love, mutual respect and goodwill, and to work collectively for the progress and well-being of the State.

Meanwhile, CM Rio took to micro blogging site X to share his greetings.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio took to microblogging platform X to extend his greetings, calling for the renewal of friendships and the strengthening of bonds of togetherness among all.

“As the #FestivalOfColours heralds the arrival of spring and the victory of good over evil, may its spirit of unity, goodwill, and harmony bring joy, renew friendships, and strengthen the bonds of togetherness among all. #HappyHoli,” he added.
