Kohima, August 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Government on August 4 announced a bureaucratic reshuffle involving the transfer, posting, retention and reassignment of additional charges of 17 Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Nagaland Civil Service (NCS), Nagaland Secretariat Service (NSS) and other officers across several key departments.
The transfers, postings and retentions were ordered with immediate effect in the interest of public service, stated a notification issued by the State Chief Secretary, Sentiyanger Imchen.
Among others, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinhahas been assigned the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department (DP&AR)
Dr K D Vizo, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Tribal Affairs Department, has also been assigned the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Law & Justice Department.
Meanwhile, Commissioner & Secretary, Water Resources DepartmentAsangla Imtihas been transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary, School Education and SCERT Department, while Kevileno Angami, Commissioner & Secretary, School Education & SCERT Department, has been transferred as Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department.
The Secretary, Economics & Statistics Department and Parliamentary Affairs Department (designate)Akunu S Meyasehas been relieved of the Parliamentary Affairs Department and assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Water Resources Department.
Kuko Mero,Secretary, Home Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department.
On promotion, Nusieta Rhakho, Secretary, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture Department, while Vechovo Tetseo, Additional Secretary, DP&AR, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department.
Additional Secretary, Finance Department and IDAN,Vineet Kumar will hold the additional charge of Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Renabomo Odyuo, Additional Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, DUDA, while Y Chingyak Konyak, Joint Secretary, DUDA, has been posted as Director, Food Processing Department.
Samuel Thyug, Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, will continue to hold the additional charge of Deputy Secretary, School Education Department until completion of the NECTAR Project.
Among other transfers, Limanungsang, Deputy Secretary, Labour, Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, has been posted as Deputy Secretary, PHED; Temsuchuba Jamir, Under Secretary, Home Department, has been posted as SDO (Civil), Mokokchung.
Accordingly, Selema S Sangtam, SDO (Civil), Mokokchung (designate), has been retained as SDO (Civil), Medziphema while Nchumbemo Humtsoe, Under Secretary, Land Revenue Department, on promotion, has been transferred as Under Secretary, Tourism Department.
Akumlong Amer, EAC, Zunheboto, has been transferred and posted as EAC, Pughoboto.
