Kohima, January 14 (MExN): Nagaland Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extended warm greetings to the Chakhesang community on the auspicious occasion of the Sokronye Festival.
In his message, the Governor said Sokronye, a sacred festival of purification and renewal, signifies a time of spiritual cleansing, reconciliation and preparation for the new agricultural season.
Expressing hope that the festival would inspire harmony and collective progress, he said such traditional celebrations play an important role in nurturing unity and cultural continuity.
The Governor conveyed his best wishes for peace, prosperity and a bountiful year ahead for all, as the Chakhesang community celebrates Sokronye with devotion and togetherness.
