AG informs pensioners

Kohima, April 3 (MExN): The office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Kohima, Nagaland has informed all pensioners who are yet to submit their revision form are requested to submit the same expeditiously.

NSCN/GPRN (Khango) welcomes 5 national workers

Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Khango) today welcomed five National Workers from the Chang Region of NSCN-K (Niki) “into its fold to unitedly serve the Nation for the common cause.”

As per a press release from the MIP, NSCN/GPRN (Khango), the workers are Kaimang – Tatar cum PRO, Thungpang – Leacy, B Aso – Deputy Secretary, N Chingmk – SO, and Ngaku – Major.

The release also appreciated the maturity and wisdom of the quintet in “joining the mainstream and working cohesively” to strengthen the Collective Leadership of President Lieutenant General (Retired) Khango Konyak and Ato Kilonser Hokato Vusshe.

NPF mourns demise

Mokokchung, April 3 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has expressed sorrow over the passing of S Rongsen, Adviser, NPF Mokokchung Division.

In a condolence message, NPF President Apong Pongener stated that Rongsen’s unwavering dedication, strong regionalist spirit, and steadfast loyalty to the Party had left an indelible mark on the organisation.

“He served the Party with integrity and commitment, upholding its principles through every challenge. As a former Vice President and later as an Adviser, his contributions to the growth and stability of the Party in Mokokchung and beyond were invaluable,” it noted.

The NPF family mourned this great loss, and his absence will be profoundly felt, it added.

The Party also extended its condolences to late Rongsen family and loved ones during this difficult time and prayed for his soul to rest in eternal peace.

NSCN-K (Niki) condoles

Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The NSCN-K led by Niki Sumi has mourned the untimely demise of Deputy Kilonser Meiphuipingbou alias James Newmei, the Caretaker of Zeliangrong Region.

Late Meiphuipingbou was one of the “senior leaders in our government and a staunchly patriotic Naga nationalist. He was assigned to oversee the affairs of the southern Naga lands, and until his last breath, he worked tirelessly to strengthen the Naga Nation, irrespective of arbitrarily drawn boundaries," stated a condolence note issued by MIP NSCN-K (Niki).

"His untimely demise has caused an irreparable and immense loss to our Naga Nation, and the void left by his passing will be difficult to fill," it said.

All the rank and file of the NSCN/GPRN expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief, it added, further noting that Late Meiphuipingbou selfless sacrifice would be recorded in the annals of Naga history.

"May his family and friends find comfort and solace in knowing that his soul rests with God Almighty in heaven," it added.
