Agrrieved NH-29 landowners meeting on May 2
DIMAPUR, APRIL 30 (MExN): Aggrieved landowners of the NH-29 (Purana Bazaar to Chümoukedima stretch) have been reminded to attend a meeting on May 2 at 3 pm at Hotel Saramati. A press release from K Samuel, Convener, NH-29 Aggrieved Land Owners' informed that the primary objective of this meeting is to come together to share and discuss the grievances of the affected landowners, deliberate on the discrepancies in land survey and compensation, and to arrive at a unified and constructive way forward. All members have been requested to participate in a positive spirit, as the meeting is intended to foster mutual understanding and has no intention of creating any division or misunderstanding among the landowners. Further, all aggrieved landowners are also kindly requested to bring two (2) xerox copies of their land patta (whether cadastral or non-cadastral) for record and verification purposes.
Directorate of Women Resource Development relocated to Meriema
Kohima, April 30 (MExN): The Directorate of Women Resource Development, Government of Nagaland, has officially relocated from its temporary premises at Bayavu Colony to its new office building at Meriema, near Nagaland University. According to a notification, all official work of the Directorate will now be conducted from the new location. “All official correspondences, meeting and public dealings intended for the Directorate shall henceforth be addressed to and carried out at the new location,” the notification stated.
Gov greets people of Gujarat, Maha on Statehood Days
Kohima, April 30 (MExN): Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav has extended greetings to the people of Gujarat and Maharashtra residing in the state on the occasion of their respective Statehood Days. In a message, the Governor stated that the occasion commemorates the formation of the two states, which are known for their cultural heritage, growth and contributions to the country. He expressed hope that the celebration would strengthen unity, harmony and mutual respect among different communities. The Governor also conveyed his wishes for good health, peace and prosperity to all.
