Nagaland Governor extends Eid-ul-Fitr greetings

KOHIMA, MARCH 30 (MExN): Nagaland Governor La Ganesan extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community in the state on Sunday, wishing them peace, prosperity, and happiness. In his message, Ganesan expressed hope that the occasion would bring answered prayers, gratitude, and strengthen bonds of unity and kindness. "As we celebrate the end of Ramadan, may your prayers be answered, your hearts be filled with gratitude, and our bonds of unity and kindness be strengthened," he stated. The governor also encouraged people to embrace the day with love, forgiveness, and generosity, spreading joy to those around them.

Dimapur Bengali Samaj extends Eid al-Fitr greetings

DIMAPUR, MARCH 30 (MExN): The Dimapur Bengali Samaj has extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Kamala Kanta Paul, president of the Dimapur Bengali Samaj, conveyed his wishes on behalf of the organization, celebrating the significance of the festival that marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting from dawn to dusk observed by Muslims worldwide. "May this festival usher in peace, prosperity, and happiness for all mankind," Paul stated.

UNDP extends Eid-ul-Fitr greetings

DIMAPUR, MARCH 30 (MExN): The United Naga Democratic Party (UNDP) has extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community in Nagaland, emphasizing unity, compassion, and cultural harmony. In a statement, UNDP President Michael Sangtam and General Secretary A Shyerhunlo Lorin highlighted the significance of Eid as a time of joy, generosity, and spiritual reflection following the completion of Ramadan. They urged people to uphold values of charity and goodwill while fostering mutual respect across communities.  “As we celebrate this occasion, let us also remember those in need and continue to build a peaceful and prosperous Nagaland,” the statement read.
