The 67th Graduation Ceremony of Impur Bible Seminary was held with the theme ‘Forbearing unto the End’ on April 9. Rev Talijungla, Associate Pastor Women, Ungma Baptist Arogo, was the keynote speaker at the graduation programme. She highlighted that the vital practices of reading Scripture, prayer, and fasting are essential for sustaining our commitment to God until the very end. She urged that these practices should be embraced as a fundamental mandate for everyone who seeks to deepen their faith and service. 

The Common Visions Foundation for Children organised an awareness programme on ‘Drug Abuse and Drug Trafficking’ for Class 7 to 10 students of Stepping Stones School, Dimapur on April 9. Two counselors, T Meren Jamir and Kinito Chishi from Prodigals Home facilitated the sessions. They explained what drugs are and what amounts to drug abuse, its harmful effects on teenagers, families and society at large. The sessions covered the concept of addiction and how substances can become addictive. It concluded with real-life examples, urging students to say ‘No’ to drugs and how to support anyone struggling with substance abuse. 

 

78 Bn CRPF observed Valour Day at Battalion Hqr Sechu-Zubza on April 9. On the occasion, Sh Devnath Somkunwar, Commandant and Unit personnel paid homage to the martyrs at martyrs' memorial. The Commandant took salute at Quarter Guard and conducted Special Sainik Sammelan. In the evening sports competition was organised and bada khana was arranged for troops in the messes.

Kekhrieselhou Theunuo, ASTC (S) receives certificate of recognition and appointment from Deputy Director of Scouts Leaders Training at National Training Centre Pachmarhi. Theunuo is Assistant leader Trainer (Rover), honourable Charge No R. 3217, valid till August 12, 2029 is appointed to conduct the course as leader of the Course. This basic course for Rover Scout leaders being held at the Bharat Scouts and  Guides National Training Centre, Pachmarhi from April 2 to 8, has been  recognized by the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Training Centre, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, S Keoshu Yimchunger inspected the ongoing road project under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) stretching from Huker village to Y/Anner village under Shamator district on April 8. During his visit, the Advisor interacted with village authority and contractor, and informed that the progress of the ongoing road construction would be satisfactory and urged the people to give full support and cooperation for early completion of the work.
