The Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) team of Phek provided general healthcare services to 590 beneficiaries across 20 villages in Meluri Block during its monthly tour in August 2026. The team conducted Antenatal Check-ups (ANC) for 40 pregnant women and provided Post Natal Care (PNC) to 69 beneficiaries. Screening for blood pressure, diabetes, and malaria was also carried out, along with distribution of free essential medicines. The MMU, which travels to remote, rural, and hard-to-reach areas, regularly tours different blocks every month to deliver essential healthcare services directly to underserved communities.
Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF) of Kohima Science College (Autonomous), Jotsoma, celebrated its 25th anniversary cum crusade from August 7 to 9, under the theme “Created for His Glory.” Dr Kethoser Kevichüsa served as the speaker for the three day celebration. The programme was also graced by the presence of the pioneers of CCF, who joined the fellowship in commemorating its 25th years of ministry and fellowship. Students and other members residing within the college campus and past members from across districts actively participated and attended the programme.
The 3rd Graduation Day Programme of Sazolie College of Teacher Education took place on August 13 to celebrate the achievements of the graduating student-teachers. Delivering the commencement address Dr Gopal Chetri, Principal, Sazolie College stressed on the importance of the teaching profession and shared words of encouragement and wisdom, inspiring the graduating students as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives. The graduating students were formally recognised for their academic accomplishments. The toppers were also acknowledged for their outstanding performance.
