Nagaland Contractor’s & Supplier’s Union (NCSU) team made a courtesy visit to Kohima Deputy Commissioner B Henok Büchem on June 5. Extending welcome to the later, the Union expressed its full cooperation and support to administration for the interests of public service. Meanwhile, the Union also apprised DC Kohima to extend Union grievances to find out alternative sites for its office in support of 50th year’s Celebration of its establishment (1975-2025). DC Kohima assured the visiting team to find out ways to help the Union grievances.
In commemoration of World Environment Day, CIHSR through the joint efforts of its Estate Management Department, College of Nursing (NSS and SNA units), TNAI CIHSR Unit, and B/173 BnCRPF, organised a range of environment-focused activities under the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution Globally.” A tree plantation drive, campus cleaning drive and an E-Waste collection campaign were conducted during the event. 
Consumer Awareness Campaign on Consumer Protection Act 2019 was held at Town Hall, Shamator Town on June 6 organised by the Tuensang District Legal Services Authority. The Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Nagaland observed World Environment Day by conducting social work and tree plantation drive in the Directorate premises, Kohima.
Green Club of ICFAI University Nagaland in collaboration with its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-IUN) joined the community plantation drive organised by Sovima Village Council on June 5 to commemorate World Environment Day. Sovima Village Council planted various tree saplings around the stretch of the University campus during the drive.
Students of Indira Gandhi Sports Academy Kohima and officers from Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports, Kohima, Nagaland on World Environment Day organized a cleanliness drive, collecting trash and waste around the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Indian Red Cross Society, Kohima District Branch officials along with Councilors and Junior Red Cross members from Bayavu Higher Secondary School observed World Environment Day by doing Social work around High School junction Kohima on June 5.
In observance of World Environment Day, the Officers’ Hill Colony Council (OHCC) Kohima planted trees and flowers at the five point junction within the colony on June 5.
Sub Registrar of Cooperative Societies Office, Pfutsero in collaboration with Forest Range Office, Pfutsero and NStCB Branch, Pfutsero observed World Environment Day on June 5. It was flagged off with a programme at SRCS Office, Pfutsero where Kevilhousa Kense, ICS was the Chairman and short speeches redelivered by Forest Ranger, NStCB branch Manager and ARCS i/c SRCS Pfutsero. Distribution of the saplings and plantation drive along the highway and office surroundings was also held.
Pfutseromi Village Joint Forest Management Committee (JFMC) in collaboration with Pfutseromi Village Frontal Organization organized a tree plantation programme in commemoration with World Environment Day on June 5. Menyilhi Mero, Chairman JFMC Pfutseromi briefed the importance of preserving the flora and fauna and appealed the gathering to continue to take care of the saplings that are planted in and around the village roads.
Nagaland School Education & SCERT Advisor Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome launched Ek Ped Maa  ke Naam 2.0  at Rüzhükhrie Higher Secondary School, Kohima on the occasion of World Environment Day  and planted fruit trees at the School premises. Later, more than 500 fruit trees were planted at the Directorate of School Education, Kohima the officers and staffs.
In celebration of World Environment Day on June 5, NDPP 35 Assembly Constituency organised a tree plantation drive at the new campus of DIET Institute and Zunheboto Government College.
Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (under the aegis of NSLSA) in collaboration with department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection Zunheboto organised awareness campaign on Consumer Protection Act 2019 at EAC office Hoshepu on June 7. Retain Lawyer, ZDLSA, Easter H Yepthomi highlighted on Consumer Protection Act 2019 and Assistant Controller, LMCP Zunheboto Khevishe Z Zhimomi dwelled on Legal Metrology Act & Nagaland LM enforcement Rules. District & Session Judge Chairman ZDLSA Phuleto Yeptho, NJS delivered the keynote address. Short speech was delivered by chairman Hoshepu Area Public Organisation K Khushito Awomi, RTD AIG Prison.
