School of Nursing, District Hospital Dimapur held its 11th Lamp lighting cum 8th Graduation and Oath taking ceremony in the Chapel Hall DHD on March 27.
Dimapur, March 27 (MExN): School of Nursing, District Hospital Dimapur (SON.DHD) held its 11th Lamp lighting cum 8th Graduation and Oath taking ceremony in the Chapel Hall DHD on March 27.
A press release received here stated that altogether 47 nursing students lighted the lamp and 30 GNM students graduated this year from SON.DHD.
Dr Keveduyi Theyo Medical Superintendent DHD exhorted during the function and pointed out that 47 nursing students has started their journey to be a qualified Nurse and 30 Nurses has successfully completed their journey and is now a qualified skill Nurse. He encouraged the GNM graduates to work with dedication and humility without any discrimination of tribes, caste, creed and religion. He further emphasized that one should also learn to love oneself.
Lamp lighting and oath taking of 1st year GNM was conducted by Bendangnaro Principle SON.DHD and graduation ceremony was done by Noniele Nursing Superintend DHD.
The programme was chaired by Lotus Kikon which was started with an invocation prayer by Nolasanu Vice Principal SON.DHD, significance of uniform by Vikhotsono Terhuja, N/T SON DHD. Special song was presented by Chivulu & Chubainla GNM students. Rev Yhunlo Thong Chaplain DHD prayed for the graduates and the newly inducted GNM students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Molungnenla N/T and mass prayer.
