Kohima, March 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat has announced that the State Rounds of Viksit Bharat will be held on March 27 at 11 AM at K Shikhu Conference Hall, Assembly Secretariat, Kohima. According to the NLA Secretariat, the Speaker has been invited to serve as a jury member and facilitate the inclusion of two other Members as part of the three-member distinguished Jury Panel.
Following the completion of the District Rounds, 30 students have been selected to compete in the State Rounds. In line with the vision of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament—which aims to foster youth engagement in policymaking, governance, and national discourse—the NLA has also invited two government schools to nominate 20 students each to attend the event as special audience members.
As per the State DIPR, the students will compete under two themes- ‘75 Years of the Indian Constitution: A Journey of Rights, Duties, and Progress’ and ‘The 11 Sankalp of Samvidhan Divas: A Pledge to Strengthen India's Constitutional Values’.
