Four athletes from Nagaland won four Gold at Old School Strongman India Championship held at New Delhi on March 2. This event, organised by Indian Strongman Sports Federation and Amateur Power Sports Association, was part of the selection for World Cup Strongman Championship 2025 to be held at Egypt in April and Germany in June this year.

Nagaland team was coordinated by Nagaland Strongman and Fitness Association (NSFA).

With Keduovilie Zumu, President NSFA as coach, four athletes brought home four Gold medals and qualified for the upcoming international strongman event.

Kevidi Linyü secured Gold in 120kg and also accorded with best zercher by setting a new national record in zercher lift.

Vizovolie Rame secured Gold in 90kg category while Zhopao Movi bagged gold in 80kg and also accorded with Best log press.

Nganshung M Phom also clinched Gold in 70kg and also accorded best deadlift.

Meanwhile, NSFA conveyed it gratefulness to all the well wishers for the support in many forms.
