Nagaland tourism presents live screening of World Cup 2026

In celebration of the world’s greatest sporting event, Nagaland tourism will be presenting live screening of World Cup 2026 at Naga Heritage Village Kisama.

Nagaland tourism director Veyielo Duolo said that the tourism department has got legal right from Z 5 for live screening of the matches for three days- 1st semi finals on July 15, 2nd semi final- 16 and grand finale on July 20.

Entry tickets comes in three categories; Gold at Rs. 3000, Silver- Rs. 200 and student at Rs. 50.

For students, school ID card will be needed.

Tickets are available at One Bit, Equipment & Sports, Kisama House, Rhododendron Resort, D’ Cafe and Directorate of Tourism, Kohima.

Ticket will also be available at the venue - Naga Heritage Village Kisama.

Toka E. Tuccumi, joint director Nagaland tourism informed that musical event will feature Moko Koza, Sentiein Kichu, Anonymous Jamir, Tolu Yeptho, Arenchenla Jamir etc.

Gate will open from 9:00 PM onwards.

There will also be food stalls at the venue.

The spectators can also win exiting prize for “Match Prediction Challenge” for every three matches.

Nagaland’s Commissioner & secretary for tourism Kovi Meyase said that the department is trying to follow a directive which the Chief Minister had in his mind, actually wants the Kisama Heritage Village site to look beyond the 10 days holiday season.

“His vision is that there is all year round activity at Kisama. We make full use of the facilities that are available there. Not only the 10 days Hornbill festival,” he said.

Meyase said that the live screening is also part of the humble attempt to make the Kisama Heritage Village more visible, not only the international part, even within our Naga crowd also.
