Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof Jagadish K Patnaik unfurls the flag at the Inter-Campus Meet at I Lhoshe Kinimi Hall, Lumami on November 12.
ZUNHEBOTO, NOVEMBER 12 (MExN): The Nagaland University (NU) on November 12 organised its first ever Inter-Campus Meet at I Lhoshe Kinimi Hall, Lumami, under the theme “Connect, Create and Celebrate.”
In an update received here, it stated that the event was hosted by the Nagaland University Students’ Union, Lumami (NUSU-L) with the aim of strengthening unity, collaboration and the exchange of culture among the various campuses of the University.
Delivering the welcome address, Toito V Zhimomi, president of NUSU (L), expressed gratitude to the administration and the participating campuses for their cooperation and support.
Zhimomi emphasized that the Inter-Campus Meet was envisioned as a platform to build stronger relationships among the students to encourage creativity and celebrate the collective spirit of Nagaland University.
The Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof Jagadish K Patnaik, delivered the keynote address. In his speech, Patnaik commended the efforts of NUSU (L) for organising the first-ever Inter-Campus Meet and appreciated the enthusiasm of the participants.
He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting academic collaboration, cultural understanding, and institutional harmony across all campuses.
The inaugural session began with the unfurling of the flag, signifying the official commencement of this landmark event. Sentikala chaired the session and welcomed all dignitaries, guests, and participants. The invocation was led by Aghali H. Shohe, Prayer Secretary, SPGKK, invoking blessings for the success of the meet.
The inaugural session concluded with an optimistic spirit, setting the tone for the following days of events which include academic, cultural, and sports activities.
