Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): Nagaland-based Korean beauty e-commerce company Beauty Barn has signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with South Korean inner beauty and healthcare brand Myeongwon Co., Ltd., making it the exclusive India distributor for the Korean company's premium wellness products.
The agreement was signed at the Chungnam Global Business Matching 2026, hosted by the Government of Chungcheongnam-do and organised by the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency (CEPA) in South Korea.
Beauty Barn was represented at the event by Akangchila Longchar, Business Development Manager.
“This partnership represents a significant milestone for Beauty Barn as we introduce Myeongwon's premium Korean wellness products to the Indian market,” the company said in a statement. “We are committed to providing our customers with high-quality Korean inner beauty solutions through this collaboration.”
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Nagaland, Beauty Barn describes itself as India's pioneer Korean beauty e-commerce retailer, offering authentic skincare, haircare and wellness products to customers across the country.
The company was founded by Toinali Chophi with a stated mission to empower the Naga community, generate local employment, and position Nagaland as a credible voice in India's growing beauty and wellness sector.
“With this latest MOU, Beauty Barn becomes the exclusive India distributor for Myeongwon Co., Ltd. marking a significant step in its mission to bridge Korean wellness innovation with the Indian market,” the release stated.
