DIMAPUR, AUGUST 23 (MExN): The Office Bearers of the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) observed the completion of one year in office with a thanksgiving service at the NCD office premises on August 22. The present office bearers completed their one-year term from August 22, 2025 to August 22, 2026.
Pastor Inaho Sumi, Associate Pastor of Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church, graced the occasion and led the thanksgiving service and prayer. He also exhorted the NCD leaders, drawing from 1 Corinthians 10:30-32, to strengthen and renew their commitment to service.
The pastor encouraged the leaders to broaden their service beyond the people of Dimapur and work for the welfare of Nagas as a whole. He also prayed for the well-being of NCD councillors, office bearers and staff, as well as the NCD federating tribal hohos and civil society organisations. The programme concluded with a mass prayer led by the pastor along with the NCD office bearers and staff.
