According to a press release, these camps are being held at Welfare Bureau of the Divisional Railway Manager’s offices at Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia divisions, Staff Facilitation Centre, NF Railway Headquarters, Maligaon and at office of the RRB/Guwahati & RRB/Siliguri. Interested candidates may attend the outreach camps at the nearest Division/Units along with the copy of E-Call letters (NTPC candidates)/Registration details (Level-1 candidates of CEN RRC-01/2019) on working days between 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs (and between 14:30 hours to 17:00 hours at RRB, Siliguri office) and may submit their grievances/concerns. Alternatively, candidates can also send their grievances/concerns in this regard to rrbcommittee@railnet.gov.in.
It may be noted that Indian Railways has formed a high power committee comprising senior officials to look into the concerns and doubts raised by candidates in regard to the results of 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) of Centralized Employment Notification CEN 01/2019 of Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) issued by RRBs on January 14 and 15.
The new committee will go into various issues raised by candidates and give recommendations. Railway Ministry on January 27 issued FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) explaining its recruitment procedure and dispel any doubts over its process.
RRBs have notified 2,83,747 vacancies since 2018 and have given appointments to more than 1.32 lakh candidates. Recruitment of remaining vacancies is under process. RRBs have conducted CBTs for about 4 crore candidates in last three and half years despite COVID-19 pandemic related restrictions.
