Maligaon, October 24 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has loaded 0.923 million tonnes (MT) during September 2022. This is an increase of 11.3% in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year. NFR loaded 5.888 MT from April to September of this financial year. This is an increase of 22.1% as compared to corresponding period of the previous year.
During September 2022, coal loading increased by 554.5% and loading of few other commodities also increased by a good margin in comparison to corresponding period of the previous year. During the month, fertilizer loading increased by 5%, dolomite loading increased by 9.9% and loading of other commodities increased by 32.8%.
During the current financial year from April to September, coal loading increased by 1118.4%, dolomite loading increased by 14.2% in comparison to corresponding period of the previous year. Fertilizer loading increased by 14.6%, POL loading increased by 10%, container loading increased by 10.6% and other commodities increased by 31.4%. It is overall increase of 22.1%.
