MALIGAON, JUNE 2 (MExN): To accommodate the increased passenger demand during the summer travel season, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has extended the services of two special trains and announced the operation of two one-way special trains.
A press release from NFR informed that train no. 05932 (Dibrugarh–Kolkata) Special has been extended to operate from June 6 to July 25, while train no. 05931 (Kolkata–Dibrugarh) Special will run from June 8 to July 27. Both trains will continue with their existing schedule, timings, composition and stoppages for eight additional trips in each direction.
The release stated that train no. 03407 (Bhagalpur–Katihar) Special and train no. 03408 (Katihar–Bhagalpur) Special have also been extended up to June 4, with both services operating three additional trips while maintaining their existing schedules and stoppages.
In addition, NFR has decided to run two one-way special trains on June 4. Train no. 05630 will operate from Guwahati to Tirupati, while train no. 05862 will run from Rangapara North to Vijayawada.
Passengers have been advised to verify train timings and stoppage details through the IRCTC website and NFR’s official social media platforms before commencing their journey.
