Maligaon, November 17 (MExN): For commissioning of double line and other infrastructure development in between Dudhnoi and Dhupdhara section of Rangiya division, undertaking Pre Non- Interlocking works from November 19 to 22 & Non-Interlocking works on November 23 at Dudhnoi, Amjonga, Rangjuli and Dhupdhara stations has become necessary.
Accordingly few more trains have been cancelled, diverted, rescheduled and few others have been partially cancelled as mentioned below.
Cancellation of train services: Train no. 05803 (New BonagaigaonGuwahati) passenger special commencing journey on November 23 and 24 & Train no. 05804 (Guwahati-New Bonagaigaon) passenger special commencing journey on November 24 and 25 will remain cancelled; Train no. 05019 (Mendipathar-Guwahati) passenger special, Train no. 05020 (Guwahati-Mendipathar) passenger special & Train no. 05607 (Mendipathar-Guwahati) passenger commencing journey on November 24 will remain cancelled.
Partially cancellation of trains: Train no. 05020 (Guwahati - Mendipathar) passenger special & Train no. 05608 (Guwahati - Mendipathar) passenger commencing journey on November 23 will be short terminated at Dudhnoi and will remain cancelled between Dudhnoi and Mendipathar.
Diversion of trains: Kamakhya-Rangiya-New Bongaigaon: Train no. 12346 (Guwahati - Howrah) Saraighat Express commencing journey on November 23 and 24; New Bongaigaon-Rangiya-Kamakhya: Train no. 22511 (Lokmanya Tilak-Kamkahya) Karmabhoomi Express & Train no. 12503 (SMVT Bengaluru-Agartala) Humsafar Express commencing journey on November 22; Train no. 15601 (Dhubri-Guwahati) Express commencing journey on November 23 and 24.
Rescheduling of trains: Train no. 15601 (Dhubri-Guwahati) Express commencing journey from November 19 to 22 is rescheduled at 09:40 hours instead of 07:10 hours; Train no. 05607 (Mendipathar-Guwahati) Passenger commencing journey on November 22 is rescheduled at 13:30 hours instead of 12:30 hours; Train no. 15655 (Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) Express commencing journey on November 20, Train no. 15662 (Kamakhya-Ranchi) Express commencing journey on November 22 & Train no. 15668 (Kamakhya-Gandhidham) Express commencing journey on November 23 are rescheduled at 13:00 hours instead of 11:00 hours.
Regulations of trains: Train no. 15622 (Anand Vihar Terminal - Kamkahya) Express commencing journey on November 18; Train no. 15078 (Gomti Nagar - Kamkahya) Express & Train no. 07030 (Secunderabad - Agartala) Express commencing journey on November 21 will be regulated en-route during the commissioning of double line.
“It may be mentioned here that construction of double line is going on between New Bongaigaon – Kamakhya via Goalpara (176 Km). Once the work of this entire section gets completed, more trains can be operated to and from Northeast India benefiting the local passengers and the economy,” Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release.
