Maligaon, August 23 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled four trains, rescheduled three and regulated another amid ongoing restoration work near New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks on Line-1 and Line-2.
Train operations over the Lumding-Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures, NFR said.
The following train services have been cancelled:
Train No. 15617 Guwahati-Dullabcherra Express, commencing journey on August 24. Train No. 15618 Dullabcherra-Guwahati Express, commencing journey on August 25.
Train No. 15615 Guwahati-Silchar Express, commencing journey on August 24.Train No. 15616 Silchar-Guwahati Express, commencing journey on August 25.
The following trains have been rescheduled:
Train No. 15650 Narangi-Agartala Express, commencing journey on August 24, will depart from Narangi at 1830 hours. Train No. 20501 Agartala-Anand Vihar Terminal Tejas Express, commencing journey on August 24, will depart from Agartala at 1900 hours.
Train No. 14037 Silchar-New Delhi Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express, commencing journey on August 24, will depart from Silchar at 2210 hours. Train No. 12501 Kolkata-Agartala Express, commencing journey on August 23, will be regulated en route suitably.
NFR said restoration work near New Harangajao station is continuing and train operations are being maintained with enhanced safety measures.
