NFR informs on cancellation of regular passenger trains

Maligaon, May 14 (MExN): All passenger carrying trains coming towards N F Railway and originating from N F Railway will remain cancelled, CPRO Subhanan Chanda informed in a press release on May 14. 


This follows the cancellation of all regular passenger train services on Indian Railways including premium trains, mail/express trains, passenger trains services, narrow gauge trains etc.


Further, all tickets booked for the above trains for the period up to June 30 will be cancelled and full refund will be given to passengers, the release added. For PRS counter generated tickets, refund across counters can be taken up to 6 months from the date of journey. For E-tickets refund will be made automatically, it added.


However, Shramik Special Trains and Passenger Special trains for movement of the stranded people will continue.


To ensure un-interrupted supplies of the essential commodities both for common people and various industries spreading throughout the country, movement of freight and parcel carrying trains will continue, the release informed.
