Maligaon, November 28 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will continue the service of Kamakhya-Sealdah-Kamakhya and New Jalpaiguri-Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri special trains for another five trips from December 2 to 31 with existing timings, stoppages and composition.
Services of train No. 03173 (Sealdah-Kamakhya) AC special will be extended to run on all Fridays from December 2 to 30. The train leaves Sealdah at 23:50 hours to reach Kamakhya at 17:45 hours on next day. In return direction, services of train No. 03174 (Kamakhya-Sealdah) AC special will be extended to run on all Saturdays from December 3 to 31. The train leaves Kamakhya at 23:15 hours to reach Sealdah at 22:40 hours on next day.
Moreover, services of train No. 08047 (Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri) special will be extended to run on all Fridays from December 2 top 30. The train leaves Santragachi at 18:00 hours to reach New Jalpaiguri at 05:15 hours on next day. In return direction, services of train No. 08048 (New Jalpaiguri – Santragachi) special will be extended to run on all Saturdays from December 3 to 31. The train leaves New Jalpaiguri at 12:15 hours to reach Santragachi at 23:45 hours on same day.
“The services will fulfill the demand of waitlisted passengers of other Kolkata bound trains as they will be able to undertake their journey comfortably with confirmed tickets,” Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey, it stated.
Cancellation of train
In order to carry out Non-Interlocking work at Andal station of Asansol division in Eastern Railway, services of Train No. 15662 Kamakhya – Ranchi Express, scheduled to leave from Kamakhya on November 29 and train No. 15661 Ranchi – Kamakhya Express, scheduled to leave from Ranchi on November 30 will be cancelled.
