NFR upgrades linen services in Agartala–Anand Vihar Tejas, Dibrugarh Rajdhani

Maligaon, March 25 (MExN): In a significant step towards modernising onboard amenities and enhancing passenger comfort, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has introduced upgraded linen services in two of its premium long-distance trains — Agartala–Anand Vihar Terminal Tejas Express and Dibrugarh–New Delhi Rajdhani Express.

The initiative reaffirms NFR’s commitment to delivering a cleaner, more comfortable and enhanced travel experience for passengers.

The Agartala–Anand Vihar Terminal Tejas Express has been equipped with upgraded bedrolls featuring specially designed, superior-quality linen with effect from March 23, 2026. The upgrade is aimed at ensuring enhanced cleanliness and improved hygiene, while also providing a more comfortable and refreshing journey for passengers availing premium services.

Similarly, the Dibrugarh–New Delhi Rajdhani Express has been equipped with upgraded bedrolls in its AC coaches from March 24, 2026, covering both First AC and Second AC classes. Passengers are being provided with standardised, high-quality bedrolls designed to ensure enhanced comfort and quality.

NFR emphasised that such initiatives reflect its commitment to improving passenger comfort and service standards. The upgraded bedrolls offer improved uniformity, durability and hygiene, particularly benefiting long-distance overnight travellers.

Passengers have expressed delight at the initiative and conveyed appreciation for the passenger-focused improvements introduced by NFR.

The introduction of the upgraded bedroll service is in line with Indian Railways’ vision of ensuring a safe, clean and traveller-friendly environment. NFR continues to undertake progressive initiatives, reaffirming its focus on service excellence and customer satisfaction.
