Niuland, February 26 (MExN): The monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Niuland, was held on February 26 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner under the chairmanship of Sara S. Jamir, Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, DPDB Niuland.
The house decided to constitute a District Level Committee for the Year of Plantation 2026, comprising Agriculture and Allied Departments along with other line departments to coordinate plantation activities in the district.
On the renewal of Adroit Society, Kuhuboto, the proprietor made a detailed presentation on its functions and activities. After deliberation, the board agreed to recommend and forward the proposal for renewal of the society’s registration.
During the meeting, the Department of Water Resources, Niuland, made a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting ongoing projects and activities in the district.
It was also decided that the Department of Forest will present its departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
