Niuland GBs urges quota compliance in police hiring

Niuland, January 18 (MExN): The Niuland District GB’s Association on Sunday appealed to authorities to strictly adhere to the approved district-wise allotment of posts in the ongoing Nagaland Police constable recruitment, “ensuring that the legitimate share of each district, including Niuland, is duly accommodated in the final selection process.”

The association, while noting the ongoing recruitment process, stated it remains confident that the Nagaland Police will continue to uphold the principles of fairness, accountability, and justice in all subsequent stages of the recruitment.

In a statement, the association acknowledged that the Physical and Medical Standard Tests for candidates from Chümoukedima, Dimapur, and Niuland districts were conducted successfully from January 7 to 13 at the Police Complex in Chümoukedima.

It extended congratulations to candidates who cleared these initial tests and offered best wishes to those appearing for the remaining stages.

The association also commended the Nagaland Police Department for conducting the recruitment process in a “professional, fair, and transparent manner,” which it said strengthens public trust in the system.
