KOHIMA, APRIL 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has extended its warm greetings to the Konyak, Chang, and Phom communities as they celebrate their respective festivals.
In a statement issued today, the NPCC conveyed heartfelt wishes to the Konyak community on the occasion of Aoleang, expressing hope that the festival brings prosperity, happiness, and unity among the people. “May this festival uphold your rich traditions and culture,” the NPCC said.
The NPCC also extended its greetings to the Chang community on the occasion of Kundaglün, wishing that the sacred festival strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and inspires collective progress and harmony.
Additionally, the Phom community was wished a joyful and prosperous Phom Monyu, with the NPCC expressing hopes for a festival filled with love, togetherness, and renewal. "May this festival be a time of gratitude and shared happiness," the statement read.
The NPCC underscored that these festivals are a reflection of Nagaland's rich heritage and the state's unity in diversity. The committee called for continued efforts towards peace, inclusivity, and progress in Nagaland as the communities celebrate these occasions. The NPCC wished all the communities a blessed and meaningful celebration.
