NTCA, Lotha Hoho fetes Rev Wati Aier

Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): Rev. Dr. Wati Aier has been awarded the prestigious 2011 Baptist World Alliance (BWA) Denton and Janice Human Rights Award.
“The recognition at the international level has come at a very crucial point of time when the Nagas are at the crossroads of national journey of common hope. The award is a recognition of Rev. Dr. Wati Aier’s commitment and dedication to the cause of the Nagas’ struggle for identity and self determination in particular and the  universal human aspiration for freedom in general,” stated the Nagaland Theological Colleges Association (NTCA) in a press note.
It also stated that NTCA expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to the BWA for honouring Rev. Dr. Wati Aier with the award.  “God bless you, Rev. Dr. Wati Aier. May your tribe increase!”
In a separate note, the Lotha Hoho Dimapur has also congratulated Dr. Wati Aier, convenor FNR for receiving the award for his tireless efforts for “reconciliation of Naga patriots”.
The ‘hoho’ in the note issued by its chairman Ntsemo Ngullie stated: “..there was time when the Nagas lived in fear and killed among themselves by the grace of God there is ceasession of killing among the Naga patriots through the tireless efforts of Dr. Wati and his colleagues in the F.N.R..We pray that God will bless them more in the service of the Naga people. We also thank the leadership of the Naga patriots for their wisdom in listening to the voice of the people and also appeal o them to sort out their differences through understanding and respect on the Naga people issue.
