Kohima, December 19 (MExN): The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) has informed all interested wrestlers that there will be Belt Wrestling selection on December 28 at IG Stadium for participation in the 64th (SGFI) National School Traditional Wrestling Championship 2018 (Belt Wrestling) scheduled from 6th to 8th January 2019 at Belagavi, Karnataka.
The Selection will be conducted in the following weight categories—Boys: 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 and +70 Kgs; Girls: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and +55 Kgs
According to a press statement issued by NWA General Secretary, Vekhozo, Government School students who are studying in Class-12 and below and are under 19 years are eligible for the selection. In this connection, intending candidates are directed to come prepare with the following documents viz; School ID Card, Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card and School Cumulative Record Book. The release further disclosed that, selected players will be having a Coaching Camp till 3rd January 2019 where Lunch and Travelling Allowances (TA) will be provided to all the participants during the selection trial camp.
