Maligaon, October 15 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to run a one way special train from Silchar to New Delhi to clear the extra rush of passengers. The special train will run for a single trip on October 17.
Special train No. 05611 (Silchar-New Delhi) will depart from Silchar railway station at 23:30 hours on October 17. The special train will run via New Haflong, Guwahati, Goalpara Town, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Gaziabad railway stations to reach New Delhi at 01:45 hours on October 20.
The special train will consist of 18 coaches. There will be 02AC three tier, 01 AC two tier, 09sleeper class, four general sitting and two Seating cum Luggage coach. This was stated in a press release issued by Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR.
