Kohima, July 16 (MExN): A team from the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner (ORGI), India, on July 16 visited multiple rural and urban charges in Chiephobozou to review the ongoing first phase of Census 2027.
The delegation, led by Dr Manoj Jain, Joint Director, ORGI, New Delhi, accompanied by Chankit Kumar, Statistical Investigator, ORGI, inspected newly enumerated houses and interacted with the heads of the houses and instructed the Enumerators and Supervisors about the House Listing Operation.

The team visited Nerhe Phezha, Botsa, Chiephobozou urban ward-5 and Touphema village during the day-long exercise, stated a DIPR report.
Local census officials, including Dr Kekrietshunuo Kire, Senior Executive, KH Athisü Chachei, Statistical Investigator, Alemsongla Jamir and M Ruthla Sangtam, both Field Trainers and Lecturers at DIET, Chiechama and Vekusheyi Rhakho, ADC & Sub-divisional Census Officer, Chiephobozou, accompanied the delegation during the field visits.
Speaking during a brief meeting at the ADC's office chamber, Dr Jain said that the purpose of the visit was to observe and inspect the ongoing 1st phase of Census-2027.
