Students avail medical service during free health camp on June 12.

Kohima, June 13 (MExN): To secure a healthier, more informed and productive academic environment, the Oriental College Women Cell and Infirmary jointly organised a free health camp in the College on June 12 under the theme “Small Steps, Big Health Benefits.”

The Camp was conducted with a team of doctors and health care professionals from various health care departments. The resource persons for the event were Dr Bilva Yalie, MO Urban Health centre Seikhazou, Dr Kediphruonuo Shiiya, Dentist Urban Health Centre Seikhazou and Dr Victor Semy, Dermatologist  State Mental Health Kohima.

Alongside the continuous 100 days campaign on TB Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, free medical consultation and hand-held X rays and molecular testing (NAAT) services were also provided during the camp.

Various general health check-ups, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing and medical consultations were also provided.
