Over 70 educators certified during AVINYA workshop in Dimapur

Educators from Nagaland during the AVINYA: The Northeast Edition workshop in Dimapur on July 15.

DIMAPUR, JULY 15 (MExN): More than 70 educators from schools across Nagaland participated in AVINYA: The Northeast Edition workshop and received professional development and certification. 

According to a press release, the workshop, organised by Birla Open Minds at AIDA, Don Bosco Campus, Dimapur, featured two specialised certification sessions focusing on 21st-century teaching and learning practices.

The preschool session, led by General Manager (Academics) Sheetal Singh, covered Brain Rules for Preschoolers and Language Acquisition in Early Years, with an emphasis on developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.

 

The K-12 session, facilitated by General Manager (Training) Priya Gopal, focused on Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences and Competency-Based Learning, introducing educators to learner-centric approaches and classroom strategies.

The organisers said the workshop combined expert inputs, interactive discussions and practical teaching strategies aimed at strengthening educators' professional competencies. Participants were awarded certificates upon successful completion of the programme.

Birla Open Minds said the participation of educators from across the region reflected a growing commitment to quality education and continuous professional development. It also acknowledged the support of participating schools, educators and AIDA, Don Bosco Campus, in making the workshop a success.
