Peren, November 29 (MExN): Closing ceremony of 5th Inter Departmental Badminton Tournament Peren District was held on November 29 where Superintendent of Police, Peren, Rukewelo T. Mero, NPS graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
In his address to the gathering, he appealed for continuation of Badminton Tournament with greater enthusiasm in the years to come. He said playing any game enables us to know our own ability and provides satisfaction.
The function was chaired by SDO R&B PWD Peren, Asembe. The winners in Men's singles, Women's singles, Men's doubles, Women's doubles, Mixed doubles were awarded with citations and cash awards. The gathering was enthralled with special melody presentation by Kediriale. Vote of thanks was delivered by Thefuradi Zumvii, DSO and member secretary Organising Committee.
