Phek, September 20 (MExN): Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Phek 2nd convocation ceremony was conducted at its campus on September 19.
A DIPR report stated that the event was graced by SP Phek, Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS as the special guest and Sahail, a Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship member, as a special invitee representing the District Skill Committee.
In her address, Dr Kaur offered words of encouragement to the graduating students. She motivated them to pursue their dreams with unwavering determination and emphasised the importance of staying away from drugs and intoxicants for a bright future.
Dr Kaur handed over certificates to the successful graduates and urged them to explore entrepreneurial opportunities available through various government schemes.
Earlier, the ceremony commenced with Dr Kaur lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Sahail delivered a speech on the District Skill Committee and provided insights into government policies and schemes aimed at skill development.
The welcome address was delivered by Er Imchem Ao, Principal, ITI Phek. Wewude, a Carpenter Trainee and outgoing student, spoke on behalf of the graduating class and Adoveyi, V.I (W/s, Cal. &Sc), delivered the vote of thanks.
