State Bank of India, Phek branch is not functioning properly as and when power goes off the general customer has to suffer. According to the bank employee they have the generator but is not functioning. There is only one bank in Phek, district headquarters but the general mass are not happy with it. On 1st of August there was power cut off for the whole day and the bank was helpless. Many govt. departments approach the bank in order to withdraw the money for their employees' salary but only because of power failure their effort was in vain.
