Proposal submitted for IT Park in Nagaland

New Delhi, April 10 (MExN): Advisor, Information Technology & Communication, Nagaland, Sethrongkyu H Sangtam called on Union Minister, Ministry of Electronics & IT and Railways, Government of India, Ashwini Vaishnaw at his Office Chamber in New Delhi on April 9. 

The Advisor and submitted a proposal for setting up IT Park in the State of Nagaland, stated a DIPR report. 

During the interaction, Union Minister has assured that setting up of IT Park in the State of Nagaland will be taken up on priority for consideration and approval, it stated. 

It may be highlighted here that the world class infrastructure of Software Technology Park of India (STPI) set up at Kohima is providing various facilities and infrastructures to our local youths and entrepreneurs, however, the State is still lacking IT Park infrastructure which is needed to boost economic activity as well as attract IT industries in the State.
