Public College holds Tri-Fest, celebrates literature, culture, and sports

Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): Public College organised its Tri-Fest from February 23 to 27, celebrating literature, culture, and sports with enthusiastic participation from students.

The festival commenced with Literary Day on February 23, celebrated within the college campus. The Literary Fest provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their intellectual and creative talents through competitions such as Poetry Writing, Essay Writing, Live Painting, Vocal Quest, and Quiz Competition. The event reflected the strong literary spirit and creativity of the students.

On February 24, Cultural Day was celebrated at the college, highlighting the richness of tradition and artistic expression. Competitions included Folklore Performance, War Cry Presentation, and Debate on the topic “Festivals Have Become More Commercial Than Cultural” generated engaging discussions and diverse viewpoints among participants.

Sports Events were held from February 25 to 27 at the DDSC Stadium, Golaghat Road, Dimapur. The sports segment featured various physical competitions and exhibitions promoting teamwork, discipline, endurance, and sportsmanship.

The Tri-Fest 2026 stands as a testament to Public College’s commitment to holistic development by nurturing literary excellence, cultural awareness, and physical fitness. The five-day event concluded with active participation and collective celebration.
