MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu addressing get-together of PVCUPT at Phek town on January 7
Kohima, January 7 (MExN): The Phek Village Citizens’ Union Phek Town (PVCUPT) held its get-together at Royal Foundation School premises at Phek town on January 7.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, stated that if any person is guided by the Bible, things cannot go wrong or one will not be misled. “Once you are guided by the principles of the living words, our habits, our behaviour of approach to the things within and around you will totally changed,” Azo said, adding that one will be more honest, trust worthy which will ultimate lead to success.
Stating that Phek village citizens has 504 households with a population of nearly 2500 in Phek Town, he said “We should set an example to the other communities. We should be the one to spread love ,care and support and always stay humble and grounded that what the Bible teaches us.”
He also expressed happiness that “Today, the sense of unity and oneness has developed in each one of us without any one telling us, which is a good sign which will also take us a long way.”
Dr. Kuvezochi Hoshi, General Secretary, Central Office Bearer of Naga People’s Front shared greetings while Nesucho Kezo and Khutsieyi Vero also exhorted the gathering.
The programme was led by Vehuta Rhakho while Dr. Vezhoto Soho invoked God’s blessings.
The programme also witnessed special numbers from Kuzhochiyi Soho & friends, Kuvetolu Venuh, Kushe Vero and special appearance by Lutsulu Hoshi
Earlier, chairman remark was given by Vepasa Venuh.
Khosapa Venuh proposed vote of thanks while prayer for feast was pronounced by Kunusahu Vero.
